To avoid mistakes like these, make sure to choose a character you have no attachment to or characters you don’t like before editing. You can also access more unique characters in this menu. If you are fond of a specific character and accidentally edited it, fear not, for you can recover those characters at any point by visiting the Preset menu on the right side of the screen. Each slot has a preset character which you can edit and rename as you like.

In the Extra Slots menu, the Select button will allow you to view a character when you click on them while the Switch button will allow you to rearrange the order of the characters. There are 20 character slots available, with 8 of those slots on display and another 12 that can be accessed by clicking on the Slots button. The first character in the character slots to the left is chosen by default. Upon opening Gacha Life, you will see the screen above.
